- 1 cup (2 sticks, 8 ounces) of butter, softened to room temperature

- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder

- 2 cups (10 ounces) of all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups (9.5 ounces) of old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips or chocolate chunks, if you prefer you can use butterscotch chips too.

Start by preheating the oven at the temperature of 350 degrees F.
Now, line two baking sheets with parchment papers, also lightly grease with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, mix 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until they are spooky and fluffy.
Then add there 2 eggs and the vanilla extract, and beat until they are well combined.
Folding them again and again with a spatula, now add 1 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
