The first snack that comes to mind of all foodies during any lazy summer evening or icy cold is  warm cookies. Nevermind, from my childhood my first love is cookies.

My mom brought me a scary cookie jar so that I couldn’t consume lots of cookies. But There is no use. I made that scary jar my friend, and continue eating cookies. So, today let’s find out some delicious potbelly cookie recipes that can give a delightfully sweet flavor at home.

Potbelly Oatmeal Cookie Recipe:

Have you ever faced this situation someone has liked your dish so much that she propagate that I’m the best baker ever with a mike. After having my cookies, my neighbour did this. So, I become more confident sharing this recipe with potbelly recipes. 

Ingredients we Need: 

  • 1 cup (2 sticks, 8 ounces) of butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (7.5 ounces) of packed light brown sugar 
  • 1 cup (7.5 ounces) of granulated sugar 
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract 
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • ¼ tsp of kosher salt
  • 2 cups (10 ounces) of all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups (9.5 ounces) of old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips or chocolate chunks, if you prefer you can use butterscotch chips too. 

Methods of preparing potbelly chocolate chip cookie step by step:

Step 1:

Start by preheating the oven at the temperature of 350 degrees F.

Step 2:

Now, line two baking sheets with parchment papers, also lightly grease with cooking spray. 

Step 3:

In a mixing bowl, mix 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until they are spooky and fluffy. 

Step 4:

Then add there 2 eggs and the vanilla extract, and beat until they are well combined. 

Step 5:

Folding them again and again with a spatula, now add 1 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. 

 Step 6:

When they are like puree, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 ½ cups of oatmeal, and 2 cups of chocolate chips. Fold them evenly until there is no dry streaks remain. 

Step 7:

Take out a scoop, at the measure of 2 tbsp, and scoop the cookie batter into balls. 

Step 8:

Place them at least 1 inch apart from each to the prepared baking sheets. 

Step 9:

Place the baking sheet to the preheated oven, and bake at the temperature of 350 degrees F, for 9 to 11 minutes or until they are fine golden brown in color and fragrant. 

When done, remove from oven, and let the potbelly cookies cool for 10 minutes, then enjoy.
