Outbacks Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
You must be familiar with this famous Australian food chain Outback’s Steakhouse. Outback Steakhouse is mainly an American restaurant chain for casual dining disguised with an Australian theme. Anyways, people are die-hard fans of Outback’s but this is not always possible to go out and have food from there. As some of its courses are worldwide famous like mac and cheese. The famous outbacks macaroni and cheese recipe is on my hand and I’m going to share the recipe with you in this article.

- 12 Ounces package of small size rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups of milk
- All-purpose flour about 2 tablespoons
- Butter or margarine about 3 tablespoons
- Paprika 1/2 teaspoon
- Velveeta cheese about 1 lb.
- 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
Step 1: At first you have to prepare the rigatoni pasta. Take a saucepot and fill its two-third with water and salt. When the salted water in the pot is boiling heavily, add rigatoni pasta there and let it boil for a few minutes.
Step 2: After a few seconds, keep the rigatoni below boiling point, as in simmer point, and stay in that state for 20 minutes or until the rigatoni gets spongy- tender. Place the rigatoni aside.
Step 3: Add margarine or butter whatever you have, in a large saucepan in order to melt the butter or margarine over medium heat. The butter should not turn into brown color.
Step 4: Add a little flour and stir without any break so that the flour could not burn or be clotted and continue this process adding whole 2 tablespoons of flour. After some time, the mixture will get thick.
Step 5: At this time, with thicken flour add milk and whisk heavily.
Step 6: While whisking heavily, add salt, paprika. Don’t stop whisking the mixture.
Step 7: The salt, paprika smoothly mix with flour then add the Velveeta cheese that is sliced in cubic size. The smaller size of cheese melts faster.
Step 8: Keep whisking till the sauce looks like a smooth puree. If the puree like the mixture is too thick, add some milk into it and stir until the mixture gets smooth enough.
Step 9: When the sauce is done, the drained pasta is ready to be poured into the mixture.
Step 10: With a spatula, gently coat the sauce with pasta and place the steakhouse mac and cheese outback in a casserole dish.

- 4 Ounces sourdough bread
- Olive oil about 1/2 cup
- Kosher salt about 1/2 teaspoon
- Freshly ground black pepper about 1/2 teaspoon
- 2 medium lemons
- Parmesan cheese (finely grated) about 1/2 cup and a little more for serving
- Dijon mustard about 1 tablespoon
- Shaved Brussels sprouts about 9 ounces
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F, placing the oven rack in the middle.
Step 2: Take sourdough bread in the cutting board and cut them into small bite-size pieces that are in the amount of 3 cups.
Step 3: In a rimmed baking sheet, place the pieces of sourdough bread and sprinkle with olive oil with a cooking brush.
Step 4: Now for flavor, add about 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper for coating and seasoning.
Step 5: Place it for cooking in the oven. After 6 minutes, toss the bread so that the other surface can equally be cooked and wait for another 6 minutes. When cooked finely, you can smell its beautiful odor.
Step 6: The dressing sauce is still not prepared and it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes. For the lemon juice, mince the two lemons in a small cup.
Step 7: Cut the parmesan cheese into slices that cover up to a little more than 1/2 cup.
Step 8: Take a blender and add Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, black pepper about 1 teaspoon, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and blend them smoothly for 10 seconds.
Step 9: Now add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and keep blending them until the mixture gets creamy.
Step 10: Bring a large glass bowl and place shaved Brussel sprouts into the bowl. Pour the dressing to mix to coat. Lastly, add the finely cooked bread and toss. Add some shaved Parmesan cheese to the top and it’s ready to serve.
