 Grandma Sycamore White Bread Recipe

When I tried this the first time, the bread wasn’t soft enough. Then I figured about the water problem. Here, you have to use only superb hot water, not lukewarm. It helps to rise the dough the most. Here is the list of ingredients and preparing procedure given below:

Grandma Sycamore Ingredients:

7 cups of all-purpose flour

Butter for top of loaves

1 tbsp. of instant yeast

1/4 cup of sugar or honey

2 3/4 cups of very warm water

1/4 cup of neutral-flavored oil (like grapeseed, canola, vegetable, avocado, extra virgin olive oil, etc.)

2 tsp of salt

How to Prepare Grandma Sycamore Step by Step:

Step 1: Take out an electric stand mixer and add 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of salt, ¼ cup of sugar, and 1 tbsp of instant dry yeast.

Step 2: Add 2 ¾ cups of warm water and ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil. Mix them with the electric mixture until well combined.

Step 3: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the batter sit for at least 10 minutes. You will notice the mixture slightly bubbly.

Step 4: Restart the mixture, while the mixture is running, add the remaining 4 cups of all-purpose flour into 3 to 4 batches. Keep the mixture running until the dough comes together finely, completely clean.

Step 5: Knead for about another 2 minutes until the dough is completely smooth and lithe.

Step 6: Take out a large bowl and transfer the dough to the greased bowl.

Step 7: Wrap the dough with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise until doubled. In warm temperatures, this won’t take more than 1 hour.

Step 8: After 1 hour, cut the dough into halves. Then grease your bread pan.

Step 9: Press each piece of dough into a thick rectangle shape. Roll the dough up, press and pinch the final seam together.

Step 10: Now, place the dough loaves in the prepared pans.

Step 11: Another rising time. Brush the loaves with butter lightly then wrap with a thin paper towel and let the loaves rise until doubled again.

Step 12: Set the oven for preheating at the temperature of 350 degrees F.

Step 13: When risen, bake the loaves for 30 minutes or until light brown or golden.

Step 14: When done, remove from the oven and let cool in the wire rack.

Store the bread at room temperature in the bread bag. Besides, keep them in the fridge upto 1 month or more. This homemade round sandwich bread tastes absolutely soft and amazing because of the double rising phase.

Conclusion:

This healthy grandma sycamore white bread is free from preservatives, artificial color, and no hidden elements. To make this super soft all you need to do is be patient and let the bread finish in the proper way. Share this recipe with your lot to have them enjoy the mild sweetness and softness of homemade breads.
