From my childhood, I love this Turkish bread recipe because of its crystal clear process. I almost forgot about the recipe until my 6-years old son tells me to prepare ‘tukkis bread’ in his words. Anyways, let’s see the recipe.

Turkish Pide Bread Recipe:
With proper ingredients and time, you can easily make it at home. Just be cautious with the temperature of the ingredients that can be confusing sometimes.
Ingredients We Need:
- 1 cup of warm milk
- 1 cup of warm water
- 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp of brown sugar
- ½ tsp of Kosher salt
- 2 ¼ tsp of instant dry yeast
- 1 large egg, Separate egg white and yolk
- 4 ½ cup of all-purpose flour
- Yogurt Egg Glaze
- 1 tbsp of plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp of water
- 2 tbsp of sesame seeds to top
How to Make Turkish Bread Pride Step by Step:
Step 1: First of all, take a large bowl. Pour 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water, 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, 1 tsp of brown sugar, ½ tsp of Kosher salt, 2 ¼ tsp of instant dry yeast, and egg white.
Mix all the ingredients finely with a fork until they are smooth.
Step 2: In that bowl, add the flour in 3 batches plus mix them finely until the dough comes together clean-cheat. I prefer at first with a wooden spoon, then by hands
Step 3: Cover the large bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to rise.
