Half a Cup of Water

Half a Cup of Tamari

One-Fourth of a Cup of Brown Sugar

One-Fourth of a Cup of Freshly Chopped Cilantro

Method of Preparing the Boiled Pork Tenderloin Step by Step:

Step 1: Toss the pork loin with cornstarch to coat it. Remove any extra cornstarch by shaking it off. Preheat a pan or a wok over high heat. Pour in the oil. Add the Smithfield Boneless Center Cut Fresh Pork Loin slices once the pan is heated.

Cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove the pork loin slices from the pan and place them on a plate to cool.

Step 2: Add the ginger and garlic to the pan. Cook for about a minute, or until fragrant. Combine the water, tamari, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Bring to a boil, then lower to a low heat and continue to cook for about 5 minutes.

Return the pork loin slices to the pan and cook for several more minutes, or until thoroughly covered with sauce. Garnish with fresh cilantro and chile garlic paste and serve over rice.

So, here is the recipe to cook the dish to perfection. 

Ingredients that You Will Need Are:

One-Fourth of a Cup of Oil

a Ten Pound Whole Pork Shoulder

Two Medium-Sized Onions, Cut into Four Pieces Each

Four Cloves of Smashed Garlic

about Three Tablespoons of Minced Ginger

Ten Whole Cloves

Six Whole Star Anise Pods

Three Tablespoons of Brown Sugar (Dark, Preferably)

One Cup of Dark Soy Sauce

One Cup of Sherry Vinegar

Six Large Eggs

Method of Preparing the Recipe Step by Step:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Heat the oil over medium heat until it shimmers in a large pan, better if it is  ovenproof. Sear the pork skin-side down for about more than 5 minutes, or until it begins to become golden brown.

Remove the chicken from the pot and put it aside. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion, garlic, ginger, cloves, and star anise begin to soften, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 2: Cook, stirring constantly, until the brown sugar has dissolved, it may take a few minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce and vinegar until everything is well combined. Replace the pork skin-side down in the pot and cover with water. Over medium-high heat, bring the mixture to a boil.

Cover the saucepan and place it in the oven. Cook for about 4 hours, or until the pork is soft and readily shredded with a fork.

Step 3: Meanwhile, crack the eggs into a medium saucepan and cover with cold water so the water level . Over medium-high heat, bring the water to a boil. Turn off the heat and cover the saucepan after it has reached a boil.

Allow a few minutes for the eggs to rest in the boiling water. To stop the cooking, drain the water and place the eggs in a dish of cold water.

Remove the shells from the eggs and make several tiny slits in the whites. Refrigerate the eggs until you’re ready to use them.

Step 4: Remove the pork from the pot and place it on a high heat setting. Bring the remaining liquid to a boil, then reduce by half or until thickened, approximately half an hour or so (you should have more or less about four cups of liquid left).

Cook for a few more minutes, or until the sweet and salty sauce has penetrated the yolks of the eggs.

Skim the fat from the sauce and drain it into a dish or gravy sieve. Pork should be sliced and the sauce spooned over it. The eggs should be served on the side.
