Brown Sugar, 1 and ¼ Cup Packed

Granulated Sugar,1/2 Cup

Egg, 1 Whole Egg

Egg Yolk, 1

Vanilla Extract, 1 Tsp.

Flour, 2 and ¾ Cups

Cornstarch, 2 Tsp.

Baking Soda, 1tsp.

Regular Table Salt, 1 Tsp.

Snowcaps Candy, 1 and ¼ Cups

Method of Preparing Homemade Snowcap Cookies Step by Step:

Step 1:

Take a big mixing bowl. Combine butter and sugar. Mix until the ingredients get incorporated thoroughly. Keep the hand mixer in medium speed.

Step 2:

Now add the egg with the other yolk and essence. Mix for  one minute.

Step 3:

Now bring all the dry ingredients and sift them on a separate bowl. Mix them gradually with the egg, butter and sugar mix. 

Step 4:

Add one cup snowcaps. Fold them in the dough.

Step 5:

Keep ready a cookie tray. Line a parchment paper on it. Take a tablespoon of dough and put on the tray. Keep a little space in between each cookie that they don’t get so tight after baking. Now take the other ¼ cup of snowcaps and press on the cookies as you want to see them.

Step 6: 

Preheat the oven at 350 degree F. Put the cookie tray in the middle rack. Bake no longer than 12 to 14 minutes. Check the cookies. They will be cooked on the bottom and look slightly brown.

The middle of the cookie can be a little tender. However, they will be cooked more when they rest on the cookie sheet.

Step 7:

The cookies will be crispy at the edge and a little chewy at the middle. The snowcaps are amazing in texture. The snowcaps can be substituted by chocolate chips if desired.

How to Make Chocolate Espresso Crinkle Cookies:

These chocolate espresso cookies have very distinctive flavor of espresso coffee in it. The inclusion of cooled bittersweet chocolate makes it a blast as they are so alluring in appearance. Let’s see what ingredients make these cookies as dark chocolate snow caps!

Ingredients that You Need to Make Chocolate Espresso crinkle Cookies are:

All Purpose Flour, ½ Cup

Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened, ¼ Cup

Instant Espresso Powder, 4 Tsp.

Baking Powder, 1 Tsp.

Regular Salt, 18 Tsp.

Unsalted Butter, 4 Tbs., at Normal Temp.

Brown Sugar, 2/3 Cup

Egg, 1 Piece, at Normal Temp.

Chocolate Chips, Bitter Sweet, 4 Ounces and Cooled

Milk, 3 Tsp., at Room Temp,

Method of preparing Homemade Chocolate Espresso Crinkle Cookies step by step:

Step 1:

Take all dry ingredients and sift them. Keep in a large bowl. Set aside.

Step 2:

Make a smooth cream out of butter and sugar. Will an electric bitter. Beat in medium high speed from 2 to 4 minutes. Look for the creamy texture.

Step 3:

Beat eggs with the creamy butter mixture.  Beat until get well mixed.

Step 4:

Mix the cooled chocolate and mix until it get thoroughly combined with the base mix. Now the batter will look like a chocolate batter than a creamy batter only.

Step 5:

Beat the flour mix with the butter and egg mixture. Don’t pour all the flour mixture at a time. Pour gradually. Don’t over beat. You just want to get them combined.

Step 6:

Place this mix in on to a plastic wrap and fold them carefully into a rectangular shape packet. Keep in the freezer for at least 45 minutes.  Now it will get a harder texture. This way you can handle the cookies better. 

Step 7:

Now, line a cookie sheet on a baking tray. Take out the dough, cut into small squares and roll into round balls. Roll them on to confectioner’s sugar. Coat them heavily. 

Step 8:

Preheat the oven at 350 degree F. and keep the oven ready for the baking phase.

Step 9:

Set all the cookie balls onto the tray. Keep 2 inch of distance between each of the cookie balls. 

Step 10:

Keep the cookie tray inside the preheated oven. Keep them for no more than 12 minutes. The cookies will be soft at the beginning. Keep them on the cookie tray for 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer them on to a cookie cooling rack. They will be harder after wards.
