How Do You Make Chicken Croquettes?

Step 1: You should ensure that you have arranged all the ingredients; place ingredients separately for chicken croquette and sauce for a chicken croquette. Some ingredients, such as mayonnaise, use for both, so it is better to place them separately for ease.

Step 2: Preheat your burner or oven up to medium heat for melting the butter. Once you see it is heated up to medium level, take a small size skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet and place it in the oven or over the burner until butter melts.

Step 3: Once butter melts, add celery, onion, and bell pepper in melted butter and cook the mixture for 5 to 6 minutes until it is tender.  Avoid increasing the heat level; it is better to maintain a medium heat level for better results.

Step 4: Now, take a medium or larger bowl; it is good to take the larger bowl for easy mixing. Add chicken, breadcrumbs, and bell pepper mixture and set the mixture aside.

Step 5:  You will need a small bowl for preparing other ingredients mixture, so take a small size bowl and add eggs, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, sale, and Worcestershire sauce in the bowl and mix all the ingredients well.

Step 6: Once all ingredients are smoothly mixed, now take the chicken, breadcrumbs, and bell pepper mixture and add it to the other ingredient mixture. Toss both mixtures combine and make 10 to 12 patties of that mixture.

Step 7: Now take a large skillet, place it over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons remaining butter and melt it in the skillet. Now add chicken patties in it and cook them for 5 to 6 minutes until they turn brown.

Change the next side and cook them for another 5 to 6 minutes.

Step 8: Once you have cooked the patties from both sides as guided instructions, prepare the creole sauce to serve the chicken patties together.

Step 9: Take all the ingredients for the sauce, combine them in one large size bowl and mix them well. Once you have mixed it, place it in the refrigerator for cooling.

It will give a better taste if you serve it chill. So you should place it in the refrigerator for one hour.
