Pasta Weesie Recipe

As a chef, I like to explore my cooking experiences with different types of recipes. Last week, a friend of mine told me about a pasta weesie recipe. She told me how amazing they taste with loads of cheese and lemony shrimp mushrooms. So, we hurriedly went to the carabbas rest to find out about their texture and flavour. Also, I talked with the chef, he has helped me a lot in this.

I started cooking just after gathering the ingredients from my nearest shop. As you all know, all my recipes written here are approved by my 12-years old daughter and she told me that this recipe is fantastic.

Pasta Weesie Copycat Recipe

So, pasta lovers, you don’t want to miss out the special fettuccine carrabba where you have the whole clear instructions. Let me tell you, I prepared them separately. At first, I cooked the fettuccine, then prepared the cream sauce, then did the lemon shrimp mushroom. Thus it took time so that I can share the exact timing for the recipe. You can do it within a short time. Let’s see the ingredients list and recipe instructions.

Carrabba’s Fettuccine Weesie Ingredients

  • 6 oz. of cooked Fettuccine pasta (finely cooked as per package directions)
  • 3 oz. of grated Romano cheese

For Cream sauce

1 Tbsp of butter (soften at room temperature)

1 Tbsp of garlic, finely minced

1 tsp of white wine

1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese

2 tsp of garlic salt

1/3 cup of heavy cream

For Lemon Butter Shrimp

1/2 lb of shrimp, peeled, deveined

1 cup of green onions, chopped

2 Tbsp of garlic, minced

1/4 cup of mushrooms, in small pieces

1/4 cup of butter

½ tsp of lemon juice

Methods of Preparing Carrabba’S Italian Grill Fettuccine Weesie Step by Step:

Preparing the Cream Sauce

Step 1: Take out a medium saucepan, and add 1 tbsp of butter. Melt it over medium heat. 

Step 2: Add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Pour 1/3 cup of heavy cream, giving it a good stir. Also, you need to stir this occasionally. 

Step 4: Bring the heat to a simmer with sauce for 10 minutes. By this time, the sauce will have thickened. 

Step 5: After 10 minutes, add 1 tsp of white wine vinegar, ½ cup of grated parmesan, and 2 tsp of garlic salt. 

Step 6: Mix them with thickened sauce and stir for 5 minutes or until they become smooth.

Step 7: Now, add the cooked fettucine in the prepared sauce and give a good mix to coat completely.

Preparing the Lemon Butter Shrimp

Step 1: Take out a cast iron skillet, and melt ¼ cup of butter, keeping the heat over medium flame. Don’t brown the butter.

Step 2: Pour 1/3 tsp of lemon juice, and 2 tsp of minced garlic. Saute in butter for 30 seconds. 

Step 3: Add 1 cup of diced green onion and saute for 30 seconds or more. 

Step 4: Now, add ½ lb of shrimp along with ¼ cup of mushroom. Cook for 5 minutes until the shrimp is completely cooked. 

Remove from heat and serve the creamy carrabba’s fettuccine weesie with tangy lemon butter shrimp and freshly grated romano cheese. The taste is absolutely yummy!
