Ingredients that You Need to Make Mongolian Pork Chops are:

Hoisin Sauce, ½ Cup

Garlic, Finely Chopped, 4 to 5 Cloves

Soy Sauce, 1 and Half Tsp.

Fresh Ginger, Finely Grated, 3 Tsp.

Red Wine Vinegar, 3 Tsp.

Rice Vinegar, 3 Tsp.

Sesame Oil, 2 Tsp.

White Sugar, 2 Tsp.

Hot Sauce, 1 and Half Tsp.

White Pepper, Freshly Grind, ½ Tsp.

Black Pepper, Freshly Grind, ½ Tsp.

Pork Chops, Bone in, 1.8 Inch Thick and Middle Cut

Red Wine Vinegar, ¼ Cup

Granulated White Sugar, 3 Tbsp.

Spicy Mustard Powder , 2 Tbsp. (if Preferred)

Egg Yolk, 1 Portion

CrèMe Fraiche, 1/3 Cup

Dijon Mustard, 1 Tsp.

Turmeric, Ground, ¼ Tsp.

Cayenne Pepper, for Color and Preferred Taste

Method of preparing Homemade Mongolian Pork Chops Step by Step:

Step 1:

Mix all aromatics, sauces, vinegars, oil and ground peppers together in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk making all ingredients come together in one paste. Keep covered for later use.

Step 2:

Take a freezer bag. A zip lock will work better as it is resalable. Insert those pork chops in the bag pour the marinade mixture in the bag. Use only half of it. Shake well. Seal the bag properly and keep inside the fridge for 7 to 9 hours. The rest of the marinade will be used later.

Step 3:

Take a medium sauce pan.  Add red wine vinegar, sugar, and the spicy powdered mustard in the pan. Put the egg yolk too.  Heat it up over medium-low flame. Mix constantly for 4 to 5 minutes. It will be thickened. Turn off the flame. Take the pan off.

Step 4:

Mix the crème fraiche with other ground spices like Dijon mustard, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Keep in rest inside the refrigerator.

Step 5:

Take the marinated pork chops out of the fridge. Dab a paper towel to remove extra liquid.

Step 6:

Let an outdoor grill be heated in high heat. Keep the trays ready to grill the meat. Grease lightly or spray non sticky oil on the grate.

Step 7:

Grill the pork chops for 4 minutes. Flip the sides and keep grilling until get browned properly. 

Step 8:

Keep the pork chops away from direct heat and keep grilling over medium heat but not on direct high heat. Brush the remaining marinade on both sides. Check the meat if it gets properly cooked or not. 

Check for no pink meat or juice inside. Cook for approximately 25 minutes. Use a kitchen meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chop. Insert it in the middle of the meat.

The read should come 145 degrees F.  If not cooked properly, wait for the right temperature to come checking after couple more minutes. Top it with mustard sauce and serve immediately. Serve with salad, buns or white rice.

Yellow Mustard Paste, 2 Tbsp.

Honey, ½ Cup

 ½ Inch Thick Boneless Pork Chops, Center Cut, 1.5 Lb.

Powdered Garlic, Portioned (as Desired)

Butter, Three Tsp.

Method of preparing Homemade Mustard’s Grill Step by Step:

Step 1

To prepare the marinade mix before you start, add honey and yellow mustard paste together. Whisk well till the spices get incorporated to one paste. Cover and keep aside.

Step 2

Heat a heavy bottom frying pan. Melt butter. Put the pork chops and fry well. Fry 4 to 5 minutes flipping both of the sides. Spread the garlic powder on the chops and fry for 3 minutes.

Flip them and again sprinkle rest of the garlic powder and cook for 3 more minutes. 

Step 3

Now, brush the mustard marinade prepared beforehand. Flip them and grill for 5 minutes. Turn over the other side. Brush the marinade mixture on this side too and flip to grill this side for another 5 minutes.

Keep cooking till the instant-read meat thermometer poked into the middle of the meat and gives a read of 165 degrees F.  Cook approximately 5 more minutes.
