This combining result I discovered, is one of the pungent recipes I have ever tasted.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs of pork cushion roast
  • 2 tbsp of Olive oil
  • 6-8 green onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of basil
  • 1 tsp of ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups unsalted chicken broth or water
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 2 tsp of honey

Methods of Preparing Step by Step:

Step 1:

I am slitting all over the pork cushion roast with a steak knife. Now to put the garlic cloves into the slits. This brings a great depth of flavor to the roast.

Step 2:

In a small bowl, I am mixing the olive oil, sugars, and all of the spices. After that, I am rubbing this all over the roast until it is covered.

Step 3:

Now, to spray the slow cooker with a non-stick spray. I am now placing the chopped green onions and the roast piece in the slow cooker. Now, if you have the left-over mixture, don’t forget to add it to the cooker.

Step 4:

In another small bowl, I am taking 1/3 cup of water, 1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tsp of honey together. Then I pour the liquid mixture over the roast. The outer layer of this roast will be pungent. Pungent and sweet, without any overpowering taste.

Step 5:

It’s now 12 pm on my clock. I will be keeping the cooker temperature high for 2 hours. Then lowering it to the low setting for 4 more hours will do the job. What you will be seeing is a very tendered piece of meat that is falling from the bone.

Now I suggest all the time that you should take a deep inhale before devouring the meat. There’s a saying that sensing the smell first can famish your half hunger.
