Jack Stack Cheesy Corn Recipes

Corn is a dry type of food and doesn’t tasty at all. Yet it is now worldwide popular and the courtesy goes to our famous chefs. They have made boring foods like corn, potato tastier. Among them, jack stack cheesy corn recipes are in great need. 

In my article, I’m sharing three of my favorite recipes that may help you to get exactly what you are looking for. Each of these recipes has a unique taste that surely makes your lunch or dinner time pleasant enough. All of these recipes mostly take an hour to be prepared for serving.

3 Jack Stack Cheesy Corn Recipes

Recipe 1:

Cheesy corn bake is always favorite to me and I hope to you guys too. When the name cheesy corn pops up, another name “Jack Stack Barbecue” comes in our mind. However, I’m showing you my favorite jack stack BBQ cheesy corn recipe at first.

Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour about 1 cup
  • Margarine about 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder about 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk about 1 cup
  • Cheddar cheese shredded about 6 ounces
  • cream cheese(cubed) about 3 ounces
  • Frozen whole kernel corn (thawed) about 10 ounces
  • Ham (diced) about 3 ounces

Directions:

Step 1: Bring a medium-sized saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons margarine and melt it well. Keep your stove in low heat.

Step 2: Add flour and garlic powder and stir to mix them well.

Step 3: Without any gap, add 1/2 cup of milk and keep whipping over low heat. When there is no crystal-like thing, add the rest of the milk and stir well or else it may get clotted. After some time, pour them into a bowl.

Step 4: In another saucepan or skillet, add cream cheese and cheddar cheese and melt them. 

Step 5: Add the whole kernel corn and ham into the melted cheese and mix them well. 

Step 6: Now, in a casserole dish or deep pan, place the corn mix and milk puree. TADA! Now you have to just bake it in the oven

Step 7: Put the casserole dish into the oven to bake it for 45 minutes. The temperature of baking has to be 350 degrees F. 

Step 8: Expelling from the oven, let your cheesy corn cool and serve it by garnishing with basil.

Health Tip:

You can use butter instead of margarine if margarine is not available in your place. Margarine is a healthy replacement of butter that is made from vegetable oil. Experts say that the health value of margarine is far better than those of butter which prevents or lessens the LDL cholesterol, known as bad cholesterol. That’s why I prefer margarine.

Recipe 2:

If you find this jack stack cheesy corn dish overwhelmed or too rich, we are providing you another easy recipe. This cheesy corn bake doesn’t require many ingredients yet it is super tasty and popular among Korean restaurants. So, hurry up and proceed with the corn bake recipe. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of corn
  • Butter or margarine about 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese about 1/2 cup, or as much as you like
  • Onion powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper about 1 teaspoon

Directions: 

Step 1: Bring a large bowl and add canned corn, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix all the ingredients nicely and make sure it covers up entirely. If you don’t have onion powder, garlic powder then you can use fresh onion and garlic instead of those. All you have to do is chop them finely and add as directed.

Step 2: Take a usual medium-sized ovenproof skillet and add margarine over low heat. Don’t keep your stove on high heat, if so it may burn. If you don’t have butter or margarine, you may use any kind of cooking oil instead and the amount should be no more than 2 tablespoons. 

Step 3: After the margarine gets melted, add the corn mixture into the skillet and stir it over medium-high heat. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes, by this time you can smell it. 

Step 4: Now quickly add mozzarella cheese and cover it. 

Step 5: You have to preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Now bake for only 2-3 minutes. If the cheese is not melted, then bake for another few minutes. 

Your quick cheesy corn is ready. If you have to handle sudden guests, this corn bake recipe can save you instantly. You can taste both sweetness and saltiness from it.

Recipe 3:

I would like to share with you another Jack Stack barbecue special recipe. It is super easy like the previous recipe I’ve shared and one of my favorites. Jack stack cheesy potato bake recipe is quite famous for enriching potato dishes. Children like this type of dishes most. As a side dish, this recipe is like a blessing to me. However, let’s go for the recipe. 

Ingredients:

  • Heavy cream about 3 cups
  • Cheddar Cheese Sauce about 1 cup
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese about 4 tablespoons
  • Freshly grated cheddar cheese about 1/2 cup
  • Jack cheese about 1 cup
  • Minced garlic about 2 tablespoons
  • Onion powder about 1/2 tablespoon
  • Garlic salt about 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper about 2 tablespoons
  • Kosher salt about 2 tablespoons
  • Red potatoes about 2 ounces
  • Fresh parsley

Directions:

Step 1: First of all preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Let the oven heat and by this time we start our preparations. 

 Step 2: Wash and cut the potatoes into 1/8 inch-thick cuts. Do this process carefully so that you can finish it without cutting your finger. Keep the potato in a plastic bowl and let it dry.

Step 3: In a medium-sized bowl, add the heavy cream, cheddar cheese sauce, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, Jack cheese, chopped garlic, onion powder, garlic salt, black pepper, and Kosher salt and blend them properly. 

Step 4: Now add the potato slices into the sauce puree. Coat by hand to cover all the surfaces of the sliced potatoes.

Step 5: Place the blend in a 9 by 13-inch casserole dish and cover firmly with Aluminum foil. Bake the dish for around 60 minutes. 

Step 6: After 60 minutes turn off the oven and take the casserole dish out carefully. Remove the foil paper and prepare the dish for 20 to 30 minutes longer, until the top is a brilliant earthy brown color. 

Let your dish keep aside for cooling and embellish with some fresh parsley, and serve it with lemonade.
