Before going for the recipe, let me tell you to process using a broiler. The broiling process is quicker than grilling as it heats up directly from the broiling frame to the surface of the food. So, read this section first to make a good turkey London broil dish.

How to use a Broiler:

  • Broilers are placed in different positions in different ovens. In some cases, the heater box is at the top of the oven. To use the oven-stand, you must place the oven stand in the maximum possible position in the oven (usually 3-4 inches from the grill). In other ovens, the heating element is located in the lower part of the oven, and the grill is in a separate compartment under the oven itself.
  • The broiling tray looks like a box under the oven. Broilers of this type are less flexible because food can be near or far from heating elements. However, it is rated at 4-5 inches in most columns and so on.
  • If you want to preheat the broiler, then you should maintain some necessary deeds. At first, heat the oven. If the oven gives you options, you should play with it to see which environment is ideal for which situation. Then turn on the broiler for at least 5 minutes before cooking to heat the oven and then lower the lid.

While placing your dish into the oven, adjust the broiling rack then keep the broiling pan. This will ensure your dish does not to burn or stay uncooked.

2 Turkey London Broil Recipes:

Recipe 1:

Turkey London broil is one of the best ways to consume turkey. This process is quicker than any other process to enjoy gravy-softy turkey. However, today I am going to share with you how to cook turkey London broil. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey breast (boneless) about 3 lbs.
  • Chopped garlic cloves about 4 pieces
  • Chopped onion about 1 cup
  • Dry oregano about 1 tablespoon
  • Dry thyme about 1 teaspoon
  • White pepper about 1 teaspoon
  • Dry rosemary about 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil about 3 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice about 2 tablespoon
  • 3 fresh sage leaves

Directions:

Step 1: Accumulate all the ingredients and measure them as per the amount said in the ingredient list. Add chopped garlic, onion, dry oregano, dry thyme, white pepper, dry rosemary into a blender, and make them like a puree.

Step 2: Get the turkey in a medium-sized bowl and simply cut a little with a knife so that the pure can get inside the turkey breast. Smear the herb pure entirely and evenly over the entire breast by hand. Wrap the bowl loosely with plastic and spot turkey in the fridge to marinate for at least 2 hours. Remember, longer you keep the turkey marinated, the softer and gravy the turkey will feel while grabbing.

Step 3: Preheat the oven to the temperature of 375° and put the foil paper on a sheet pan. When the temperature arrives at 375°, turn the oven off and heat the broiler on to the high.

Step 4: Keep the turkey into the oven on the middle rack and cook for five minutes. Always use hand gloves or else it can burn your hand. Turkey should cook to a pleasant brilliant earthy brown color on the top side. Keep the turkey inside the oven for approximately five minutes.

Step 5: Turn the breast over and cook the opposite side for an additional five minutes. Observe it and make sure it doesn’t burn at all.

Step 6: Turn the broiler off and set the oven again on to the temperature of 375°. Let turkey broil in oven for precisely 20 minutes. In this phase, there’s no chance to burn your turkey.

Step 7: Turn the turkey over and turn the oven off. Keep turkey inside of the oven. Your turkey has to be set. Keep cooking for an extra 20 minutes.

Step 8: Check on the internal turkey breast temperature. At the temperature of 165 degrees F, the turkey is ready. If it is not, then keep the turkey inside for a bit and keep checking. Don’t turn on the oven again, just keep inside for a little longer.

Step 9: Expel the turkey out of the oven and let it chill for fifteen minutes before you slice it up. Add lemon juice and put fresh sage leaves for flavor.

Serve the marinated turkey London broil with roasted garlic mashed potato, white sauce, and green bean casserole. I hope you like this combination. I think this will be perfect for your thanksgiving.

Recipe 2:

Broil turkey is a healthy dinner yet that doesn’t mean it can’t be tasty and delicious. Whenever I arrange a small gathering, I go for this stuffed turkey London broil. I love seeing the satisfied faces of my guests while eating, especially the children. I have said enough about my experience. Now, let me share the stuffed turkey recipe with you.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey breast 1 pound (skinless, boneless)
  • Frozen chopped spinach (thawed, drained) about 10 ounce
  • Cooked brown rice about 2 cup
  • Cream cheese as needed or 2 tablespoon
  • Toasted pine nuts( to taste) about 2 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cloves
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Butter about 2 tablespoon

Directions:

Step 1: Take the turkey and make a deep pocket like a hole in the the meaty part of turkey breast with a smooth knife.

Step 2: Add the spinach, 2 cups brown rice, toasted pine nuts, cream cheese, ground allspice (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg), salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix them well. The mixture should look like a thick smooth paste or puree. The stuffing rice must have to hold together all other ingredients. If it doesn’t, add more cream cheese to it.

Step 3: Oil the broiler pan well and put the turkey into it. Now, fill the pocket hole of turkey with rice mixture. After that, coat with butter. The preparation is done. With a brochette, keep the turkey close so that the stuffing doesn’t come out. Cove the broiler pan with foil paper. Be ready for cooking time!

Step 4: Preheat the oven at a temperature of 400 degrees F.

Step 5: Place the broiler pan in the middle rack of the oven. Don’t forget to wear cooking gloves.

Step 6: The total turkey London broil cooking time is about 1 hour 45 minutes. After 1 hour, remove the foil paper from the broiling pan with carefulness. You will notice that the pinkish flavor of turkey is gone and the stuffing is hot enough to burn your hands.

Step 7: Put the turkey back into the oven and keep it there for 45 minutes. By this time, your turkey will turn into fine brown color and the juice will come out from the stuffing. Yummy! The dish is not done yet.

Step 8: Place an instant-read meat thermometer into the stuffing part as in the thickest part of the turkey. The result has to be shown 165 degrees F. Now your special turkey dish is ready.

Wait at least 15 minutes before slicing the dish down. Enjoy your meal. I hope, you like this recipe and have a great day with happy cooking.
