We all know about Graham Kerr, the famous English cook, for his amazingly rich-flavored recipes. He has gifted us with many recipes.Trust me all of them are super tasty if you can prepare the right ways of preparing. Here in this article, I’m sharing some famous galloping gourmet chicken recipes, that will blow your mind while you just taste it.
Let me share my experience with you. When I was attending my cooking classes, a chef came to a session. He mentioned about Graham Kerr and prepared us maple syrup chicken. I couldn’t forget the taste and from then I was determined to prepare his dishes. Thankfully, I succeeded and now I want to share these with you foodies.

Maple Syrup Chicken Recipe:
Graham Kerr’s maple syrup chicken recipe is so far the world’s best maple syrup chicken I have ever tasted. I was inspired by the chef, he prepared the dish for us. This is my very first tried recipe of Graham Kerr and I’m still so in love with it. Let’s learn the recipe.
Ingredient list:
3 1/2 pound of chicken
1 cup of maple syrup
1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
1 3/4 cups of tomato puree
1/2 cup of dry sherry
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of tasting salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
2 teaspoons of hot curry powder
1 teaspoon of powdered marjoram
4 cloves of garlic
1 green onion, thoroughly diced
1/2 cup of mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons of golden raisins
1/4 cup of blanched almonds
1 green pepper, finely diced
2 celery stalks, sliced
Instructions:
Step 1: Place the chicken pieces in the 14″ casserole bowl.
Step 2: Add the maple syrup, white wine vinegar, vegetable oil, tomato puree, and soy sauce with finely cover them with chicken.
Step 3: Now you need to season the chicken with salt, freshly ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons of hot curry powder, powdered marjoram, and smashed garlic cloves.
Step 4: Using hands, mix up the ingredients well, and let marinate for at least 4 hours at room temperature.
Step 5: After 4 hours, place the casserole bowl on the stovetop. Let the marinated chicken heat on low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 6: Then add sliced onions, sliced mushrooms, ¼ cup of almonds, diced green pepper, and diced celery. Cook them all for another 30 minutes.
Thus tangy, tasty maple syrup chicken is ready to enjoy with your favorite drinks and side dishes.
Chicken Treenestar Recipe:
The name ” Chicken Treenestar” is especially given by Graham Kerr referring to his wife Treena Kerr. With the juicy texture with long grain rice, this dish can be perfect for any type of formal parties, meetings, gatherings, etc. Because of the absolute tangy mouth-watering flavor, everyone loves this dish.
Ingredient List:
3 pound of roasting chicken
1 medium green onion, sliced
2 small carrots, diced
3/4 pieces of bacon rinds
2 tablespoons of clarified butter
1 bay leaf
2 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of butter
Kosher salt, to taste
White pepper, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 pound of long grain rice, washed and strained
1 cup of asparagus tips, cooked
5 jumbo shrimps, peeled and cooked
1/2 cup of dry white wine
3 stalks parsley, finely chopped
Cayenne pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Take a stockpot and place the roasting chicken, onion slices, diced carrot, and 2 tablespoons of clarified butter into it. Cover the stockpot with a lid and let cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Step 2: After 10 minutes add water into the stockpot, covering by 1-inch. Adding bay leaf, increase the heat to high, and bring to boil. Don’t cover the stockpot during boiling.
Step 3: After that, skim foam from the upper surface and cook for another 1 hour, reducing the heat to a simmer.
Step 4: Removing from heat, strip the meat off the bones. Placing the chicken meat on a bowl, pour some cooked liquid juice and let cool in the refrigerator.
Step 5: Placing the crush bones into the liquid, boil, and thicken the liquid by half. Let cool and strain the liquid into 2 1/2 cups for further use.
Step 6: Now, add 2 1/2 cup of milk to the strained chicken stock. Bringing to boil, knead the all-purpose flour together with butter. Whisk the ingredients together to make smooth. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and white pepper.
Step 7: Strain the moisture from the chilled chicken meat into a large saucepan and add 2 cups of water and rice. When the rice is nearly done, add 1/2 cup of asparagus tips, 3 jumbo shrimps to rice.
Step 8: Lastly, nestle cooked chicken meat, the remaining asparagus tips, and shrimps to the sauce. Pour wine and heat for 10 minutes.
For serving, place the chicken meats and special tangy sauce over shrimped added rice. Sprinkle chopped parsley and cayenne for garnish.
