Step 1: Get a large pot and boil water. Place the eggs inside the pot carefully, so it doesn’t crack. Cover the lid. When the water starts to boil, remove from heat and uncover for around 15 minutes. After that, rinse under the cold water.

Step 2: Crack the eggshells carefully. Peel the shells and gently pat the eggs with a paper towel to dry up.

Step 3: Now, slice the eggs in half. Gently remove the yolks and transfer them to a medium bowl. Set aside the whites.

Step 4: Get the yolks. Mash it into a fine crumble by using a fork. Now, add 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tsp of white vinegar, 1 tsp of yellow mustard, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well.

Step 5: Evenly spread the yolk mixture into the halved whites. Garnish those with smoked paprika. Enjoy!

  • 4 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/4 cups of milk
  • 2 tsp of active dry yeast
  • 2 medium-sized eggs
  • 8 tbsp of butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • oil for frying

Directions for preparing step by step: 

Step 1: Get a pot and warm up 1 and 1/4 cups of milk.

Step 2: Get a large mixing bowl. Pour the milk and add the yeast. Stir a bit and wait for the mixture to get foamy.

Step 3: Now, add the eggs, sugar, butter, and salt into the mixture and beat it. After that, add the flour gradually and mix well. Now, transfer the dough to a floured surface.

Step 4: Knead the dough gently until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise by double.

Step 5: Get the dough out. Roll the dough till the thickness is around half-inch and cut out doughnuts with a cutter. Don’t cut out the middle if you are planning for the whole ones.

Step 6: Place the doughnuts on a floured baking sheet. Keep gaps between them and cover with a kitchen towel. Let it rise slightly.

Step 7: Off to the oven. Set it to 200F. Done, I guess. Get them out of the oven and let them cool.

Step 8: Get a pot. Fill with around 2 quarts of oil and fry the doughnuts. Flip them over and fry the back.

Step 9: Glaze the doughnuts as you fancy. Enjoy!
