How to Make Oatmeal Creme Brulee?

Making this is not a big deal if you have the correct information and recipe directions. It’s pretty easy, prepare the dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Mix together and bake.

These oatmeal brulee recipes are usually healthy but this one is very healthy. This two phase baking gives a prominent texture along with very well cooked inside base.

The ingredients are so usual that are commonly found in pantry. So, don’t waste any time. Just grab the ingredients and cook!

Oatmeal Creme Brulee Ingredients: 

We have separated the ingredients list on 2 parts: dry nix and wet mix ingredients. 

Dry Mix Ingredients:

2 cups of quick oats or 2 1/4 cups of old fashioned oats, uncooked

1⁄3 cup of granulated sugar

1⁄4 tsp of salt

Wet Mix Ingredients:

3 1⁄3 cups of non-fat milk

2 eggs

2 tsps of vanilla extract


1⁄3 cup of brown sugar, firmly packed

Methods of Preparing Bruleed Oatmeal Step by Step:

Step 1: Start by heating oven at the temperature of 350 degrees.

Step 2: Then, slightly brush cooking oil or extra virgin olive oil to a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Step 3: Bring out a large bowl and combine dry mix: 2 cups of oats, 1/3 cup of granulate sugar, and 1 tsp of salt. I’m using Kosher salt here. 

Step 4: Again, bring out a medium-sized mixing bowl and add 2 eggs, 2 tsp if vanilla extact, and 3 1/3 cups of non-fat milk. Whisk the ingredients well.

Step 5: Now, add the wet ingredients mixture to the dry ingredients mixture.

Step 6: Into the prepared dish, pour the mixture and tap to set finely. 

Step 7: Put the baking dish to the oven and bake for 40 minutes to 45 minutes or until the centre will be jiggly.

Step 8: Now, remove the pan from oven, place pan on a cooling wire rack.

Step 9: Sprinkling the brown sugar over top of oatmeal, return the pan back to the oven and bake until the sugar melts. This will take not more than 2 minutes to 3 minutes. 

Step 10: Remove from the oven and place on the cooking rack. 

Step 11: Now, you need to set the oven to broil.

Step 12: Set the pan under broiler, almost 3 inches from the heat until the sugar bubbles and browns slightly. This step should be done very carefully. It won’t take after 2 or 3 minutes. 

Step 13: Again, remove the pan from broiler.

Spoon the mixture into serving bowls. Serve and enjoy!

What Goes Well with Brulee Oatmeal

Crème brulee means brunt cream in French. Definitely I’m not suggesting you to have another dessert with a dessert. This can be a very sweet valentine bliss for a couple.

Here Muscat dessert wine can be the best option for crème brulee. Apart from this moon water, Champagne, beer can be paired finely. If you want it all red, then serve with some strawberry or raspberry as topping with a old red wine.
