Carrabba’s Blackberry Sangria Recipe:

While discussing Carrabba’s beverages, blackberry sangria hits the most in its list. The classy Italian wine and Italian liqueur make this drink rich with a delightful flavor. It takes a little more time to prepare, approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

However, here are your ingredients and Carrabba’s sangria recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 liters Sweet Red Italian Wine (I prefer Bisanzio Italian Wine)
  • Cranberry Juice about 14 ounces
  • Blackberry syrup about 14 ounces (I prefer adding Monin’s blackberry syrup)
  • Italian Liqueur about 6 ounces (Tuaca)
  • Sprite about 2 ounces in per glass
  • Lemon slice for garnish
  • Orange slice for garnish
  • Blackberry for garnish

Directions:

Step 1: At first take a mason jar.

Step 2: Pour first four ingredients of the list above in the mason jar for the main work.

Step 3: Let the mason keep in the fridge for 2 hours.

Step 4: After 2 hours, take a tall glass, filling up with ice and 2 ounces of sprite, and pour the chilled mixture.

Step 5: For garnishing, you can add blackberries, a slice of lemon, and a slice of orange and serve it with straw.

Easy-peasy huh? So, without any doubt, you can prepare it and can enjoy your drink.

Blackberry Sangria Recipe:

There are variations of blackberry sangria recipes. The regular blackberry sangria recipe needs few ingredients and it is easy to prepare twice, thrice, or more. In this recipe, if you keep it overnight, it releases more flavor by infusing into wine. According to my opinion, the taste is quite exotic indeed. You can create as per your taste by adding more or less ginger ale. Let’s prepare your favorite blackberry wine sangria.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2/3 cup of granulated white sugar
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • Slightly sliced blackberries about 4 ounces plus 6 ounces in separate.
  • Blackberry Simple Syrup
  • 750 ml bottle of dry red wine
  • Ginger ale about 24 ounces
  • 1/2 cup brandy (I prefer using Christian Brothers)
  • 1 slices lime cut into thin slices
  • 2 medium oranges
  • Ice

Instructions:

Step 1: Firstly, we will prepare the blackberry syrup. For that, we need a small saucepan.

Step 2: Pour 1/3 cup of water in the saucepan for boiling then add 2/3 cup of granulated white sugar over medium heat. Keep boiling the sugary water until the sugar completely melted and you can see the clear water.

Step 3: When done, add the 4 ounces of blackberries and lower the heat under the simmering point.

Step 4: Let the blackberries cook for at least 10 minutes.

Step 5: when the blackberries turn mushy and stickily soft, turn off the stove and let it chill at room temperature.

Step 6: When the blackberry syrup is cold enough to handle, take a small bowl and sieve. Pout the blackberries slowly into the sieve or cheesecloth. Then, squeeze it with a spoon or by hand to get the clear blackberry syrup.

Step 7: When the squeezing is done, keep the bowl in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Step 8: Now, take a mason jar or pitcher.

Step 9: Add 750 ml bottle of dry red wine (I have used Il DucaImperiale Red wine, you can use any kind of red wine instead), 1/2 cup of brandy, the blackberry syrup that you have prepared, and stir.

Step 10: Lastly, in the mason jar, add the fruits: 6 ounces of blackberries, 2 piece oranges (cut into slices), lime slices, lemon wages, etc.

Step 11: Cover the mason jar loosely with plastic and let it sit overnight. Keeping it for a longer time allows the fruit to infuse entirely into the wine. Thus it spreads fruity punch.

Step 12: Take Collin glasses and 1 or 2 ice cubes. Pour your blackberry sangria and add ginger ole to adjust the sweet more-fruity punch flavor.

So, your blackberry sangria is ready. Enjoy the drink with family, friends, and beloved ones if you are not thinking to drink all alone.
