Step 1: In a coffee grinder, add the cacao ribs and grind until powdered. This is a must-do step. Your cacao ribs have to be fully grounded if you want a smooth creme de cacao.

Step 3: When the water is on the boiling point, lessen the heat into a simmer. Cover the saucepan with a lid and let it stay for 20 minutes.
Step 4: After 20 minutes, remove the saucepan from heat and let the liquid mixture cool in the room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Step 5: When the liquid mixture is cold enough, pour 3 cups of vodka and 3 tbsp. of chocolate extract into the saucepan.
Step 6: Your creme de cacao is almost ready. Stirring the liquid, transfer into an airtight jar, and place them into the fridge for 1 month.
This one month is the maximum time of sitting the flavor. If you can’t wait that long, keep it for one week or two. but the best result comes in one month.
For chocolate liqueur:
Step 1: Place the cocoa powder and lime wage in a shallow bowl.
Step 2: Add the lime juice from the edge of a highball glass and place them upside down into the shallow bowl to add the cocoa powder. You can totally skip the garnish part. In the Godiva, the sour texture and rich cocoa texture, you get, this is the reason.
Step 3: In a cocktail shake, add ice, 2 oz. vodka, and 11/2 oz. of creme de cacao. Shake the liqueur for 1 minute, and pour them into a highball glass.
