Communion Bread Recipe with Honey

This soft communion bread is popular to use in churches and for other religious purposes. It not just has an awesome taste but the honey and butter combination makes it a creamy and healthy diet for you. It may take some hours so you can prepare it one day before your event in the church. 

Ingredients You will Need

3 Teaspoon Salt

4 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour

½ Cup Melted Butter

3 Teaspoons Honey

2 Cups Water

1 Egg, Beaten

How to Make Unleavened Bread for Communion?

Step 1: Arrange all the ingredients separately to easy access each ingredient when need on the table.

Step 2: Preheat your oven up to 350 F and then grease the baking sheet lightly

Step 3:  Add the all purpose flour and salt into a mixing bowl, take a larger bowl for easy mixing.

Step 4: Now prepare water and honey mixture in a separate bowl, shake them well and ensure that honey mixed properly in the water

Step 5:  Next, add the water and honey mixture in the flour mixtures and also add ¼ cup of melted butter in the mixture. Mix them well until you get a sticky dough form.

Step 6: Set the remaining butter aside for later use and start stirring the dough. When you see, the dough becomes softer. Place some flour on the flat table, or dish and then place the stuffed dough on the flour layer. Take the dough on a  floured surface and knead for 10 minutes with your hands. 

Step 7:  Make four equal pieces of the stiff but smooth dough and then form each one into a round. Take those loaves and place them on the greased baking sheet. Brush it with butter to make it creamy.

Step 8: Place all the pieces in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, but baste the tops of the loaves after every 15 minutes with the butter. 

Step 9: Wait till 45 minutes when loaves are baked well, brush the tops of the loaves with beaten egg and bake it for further 15 minutes. When you see the loaves become rich golden brown turn off the oven and take the loaves out. 

Step 10: Before serving the loaves it is good to break the large pieces into small pieces for serving in the church communion.

Manage the Temperature at 350 Degrees F Otherwise You May Deteriorate Its Taste

if You Are Diabetic Patient You Can Also Skip or Reduce the Honey
