Method of Preparing the Italian Spinach Rolls Step by Step:

Step 1: To make this Stromboli with pizza dough, first, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Using cooking spray, coat a baking sheet.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the spinach and garlic for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the garlic becomes golden. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.

Make sure that the garlic only turns golden brown. Do not burn the garlic or the dish will taste bitter afterward. Many people don’t understand when to stop frying the garlic mince. So, maintain caution.

Step 2: Combine the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, oregano, and salt in a large mixing basin. Stir in the spinach mixture until everything is thoroughly combined.

Evenly mash t them all together so there aren’t any lumps even when the cheeses are in solid condition. The smooth texture will help you in maintaining consistency.

Step 3: Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and stretch it out to a 10-inch by 15-inch rectangle with your fingertips or the heel of your hand. To create two 5- x 15-inch rectangles, cut in half lengthwise.

Make sure the ends are not frayed. Take your time and cut them clean. This will help during sealing the ends tight and make good rolls.

Step 4: Half of the spinach mixture should be spread onto each dough piece, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the perimeter. Fold each piece of dough in half and press the sides together to seal them tightly.

You can press on the sealing part with your index and thumb, so the edges are clean and not frayed. Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. You can do a test by dipping a fork through one of the rolls to see if the consistency is right and the rolls are cooked through fully. That will help you measure the time accurately.
