Welcome to the world of the fruity dessert! As we know, it’s summer and there are lots of fresh fruits. So today, I choose mulberries to prepare a dessert that is super tasty, super tangy, and crispy too. Let’s check out the mulberry cobbler recipe to satisfy our tastebuds. 

Best Mulberry Cobbler Recipe:

You will shortly know why I’m calling this recipe the best. I have got this recipe from an old cookbook of my grandmother. She was an excellent cook and she is my inspiration to become a chef. With the sweet mulberry filling along with a crumbly outer crust 

Ingredients we Need:

  • 4 cups of mulberries, ripe, sweetened to taste
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup of sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup of milk

How to Make Mulberry Cobbler Step by Step:

Step 1:

First of all, you need to preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Take a small mixing bowl, and add 1 cup of white sugar, 1 cup of sifted flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1 tsp of baking soda, ¼ tsp of salt, ½ cup of melted butter, and ¾ cup of milk. 

Step 2:

Mix all the ingredients with a whisk finely. Make sure there is no dry ingredient left.  

Step 3:

In a tiny saucepan, heat the mulberries on the stove over medium-low heat. Don’t overheat, or you will scorch them. 

Step 4:

Take out an 8×8 or 9×9-inch casserole dish or baking dish, and lightly grease it with a cooking brush. 

Step 5:

Pour half of the prepared batter into the greased casserole dish or baking dish. 

Step 6:

Spread the mulberries evenly on the batter. 

Step 7:

Pour the remaining batter over the mulberries. 

Step 8:

Place the baking dish in a preheated oven, and bake for 40 minutes at the temperature of 400 degrees F.

When done, remove from oven. Let cool for 10 minutes, and enjoy the fullest flavors miracle cobbler.
