Ingredients that you will need are:

For the cake:

Two cups of flour

One teaspoon of sea salt

One and a half cups of white granulated sugar

Three teaspoons of baking powder

Two tablespoons of instant coffee

Two tablespoons of cocoa

Half a cup of vegetable oil

3/4th of a cup of water

Eight eggs

One teaspoon of cream of tartar

For the icing:

One cup of butter

One tablespoon of instant coffee

One tablespoon of cocoa powder

One cup of chilled whipping cream

One cup of powdered sugar

Method of Preparing Mocha Cake Mix Step by Step:

The cake:

Step 1: In the mixer bowl, pour the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, one cup of sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and instant coffee. 

Step 2: Pour the oil and water in and start mixing with the electric mixer. The speed should be medium-low. Keep mixing this goldilocks recipe for about 3 minutes.

Step 3: Separate the egg yolks and whites. Add the egg yolks into the cake batter mix gradually. When all the eggs are in, the blend should be really smooth. 

Step 4: Beat the egg whites and the cream of tartar until it forms frothy and glossy. 

Step 5: Mix the frothy mixture with the cake batter with a rubber/silicone spatula, fold the mixtures into each other so those slowly incorporate well. This will really bring out the goldilocks cake flavor.

Step 6: Line this final mixture into a baking pan, bake for 25-35 minutes.

Step 7: When the cake is done, cool it on a cooling rack.

The icing:

Step 1: Beat the butter for about 3 minutes until it becomes soft and frothy.

Step 2: Pour the Cocoa powder, instant coffee, and cream to keep beating with the electronic beater. Keep adding the powdered sugar gradually as you keep beating the mixture.

Step 3: Keep beating until the mixture is fluffy and smooth. 

Final step: 

Slice the cake horizontally and decorate with the icing. Freeze to set to your desired temperature. Serve and enjoy!
