  • Three pounds of fish fillets
  • Two cups of all-purpose flour
  • Three cups of pancake mix
  • Three cups of club soda
  • One tablespoon onion powder
  • One tablespoon of oil
  • Dash of salt

Method of Preparing Arthur Treacher’s Fish and Chips Step by Step:

Step 1: Clean the fish fillets and make sure there are no bones. It is best if you choose fishes with no bones in the flesh. 

Step 2: Dip the fish fillets into flour and pat and tumble so each fillet gets a decent coat of layering. Set aside and let the flour set on the fillets, allow them to air-dry. 

Step 3: Take a bowl and pour the pancake mix, club soda, onion powder, and salt. Stir and mix well to a good consistency to follow through the Arthur Treacher’s batter recipe. 

Step 4: Dip the fillets into the batter and fry them in oil. Make sure they have a golden-brown tone. Each side will take about four minutes.

Step 5: After they have been fried in oil, bake them in the oven at 325°F for 5-7 minutes. Make sure the fillets have been cooked through.
