Turkey wings are another name of love for partygoers. Not only that, this is one of the most consumed items on special occasions like thanksgiving ceremony, weekend nights, and so on.

Preparing turkey wings is easy, and there are hundreds of recipes available on the internet. But slow cooker recipes are the best to celebrate juicy, creamy, tangy turkey wings. Today I’m with turkey wing crockpot recipes that are absolutely amazing in taste.

Orderly, I kept each recipe on my weekly menu apart from occasions. When you learn the recipe, the process of preparing and usage of ingredients will convince you to make them immediately.

Crockpot Turkey Wings Recipe:

The very first turkey wings recipe in the crockpot is amazingly delicious. With the condensed cream of chicken soup and diced veggies, the aroma is completely mouth-watering while cooking.

The ingredients along with spices are all available in your pantry. You just need a crockpot to prepare it. Here is the full written recipe with the perfect cutting process.

Ingredients we Need:

  • 2 lbs of turkey wings
  • 1 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup of chopped medium onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced celery
  • 1/2 cup of diced carrots
  • 1 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 pinch of Kosher Salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup

How to Cook Turkey Wings In A Crockpot Step by Step: 

Step 1: Grab the ingredients and prepare them as described. 

Step 2: Cut off the turkey wings into the wingtip, the wingette, and the drumette. Now, season the pieces with a pinch of salt and black pepper. 

Step 3: Take a skillet and pour the extra virgin olive oil into that skillet. Heat the oil over medium heat.

Step 4: While the oil is hot enough, add the seasoned turkey wings pieces, browning all the sides evenly. To do so, cook them for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 5: Now add the chopped 1 cup of onion, diced celery, and diced carrots at the bottom of the crockpot. 

Step 6: Place the browned chicken wings into the crockpot. 

Step 7: In another bowl, combine 2 cans of the chicken creamy soup with 1 1/4 cup of water. Pour the full creamy mixture over the browned turkey wings. 

Step 8: Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook for 4 hours on high. With an instant-read meat thermometer, check the internal temperature of the turkey wings, the result has to be 165 degrees F. 

When done, transfer the slow cooker turkey wings to a casserole dish, serve, and bon appetit.

Crockpot Turkey Wings with Onion Soup Mix Recipe:

Another recipe crockpot turkey wings cream of mushroom with onion soup mix. This special spice mix makes the flavor savory and super-aromatic.

The wings are cooked in a slow cooker with the perfect mix of onions, green peppers. Enjoy the dish on a brisk winter evening with your special person, family members, etc. 

Ingredients we Need: 

  • 2 Lbs of Turkey Wings
  • 1 cup of chopped onions 
  • 1/2 cup of green pepper, finely chopped 
  • 2 tbsp. of butter
  • 4 tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of cream of mushroom
  • 1 cup of turkey broth
  • 2 tbsp of seasoning salt
  • 1 tbsp of onion soup mix (see the recipe below)
  • 1/2 tsp of ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp of dried rosemary

Directions Step by Step: 

Step 1: Firstly, preheat the crockpot, turning on to high heat. 

Step 2: Season the turkey wings with 1 tsp of onion soup mix, 2 tbsp of seasoning salt. Massage the seasonings well by hands. 

Step 3: Take a skillet and add butter to it for melting over medium-high heat. 

Step 4: When the butter is melted, fry the turkey wings finely in all brown for 3 to 4 minutes. 

Step 5: Add the chopped onions and chopped peppers in the skillet. Saute them for 2 minutes or until semi-tender. 

Step 6: Place the onions, peppers at the bottom of the slow cooker. Then add the browned turkey wings. 

Step 7: Taking a large bowl, pour 1 cup of turkey broth, 2 cups of cream of mushroom, and 4 tbsp. of all-purpose flour. Mix them all well, creating a slurry. 

Step 8: Pour the slurry over the turkey wings with 1/2 tsp of ground sage and 1/2 tsp of dried rosemary.

Cover with the lid and set the timer for 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the efficiency of your crockpot. 

Enjoy the hot juicy turkey wings with your favorite steamed vegetables, or rice.

Homemade Onion Soup Mix Recipe: 

No wonder the onion soup mix is a popular mixing that makes any dishes better. Preparing this at home is very easy and all available ingredients are cheap as well.

5 tablespoons of the homemade mix are considered as 1 packet. So, let’s get started. 

Ingredients we Need: 

  • 1/3 cup of onion flakes
  • 7 tablespoons of beef bullion granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Directions: 

  1. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients well. 
  2. Take an airtight jar, and pour the mixture. 

You can use the homemade onion soup fix for up to 6 months. 

Conclusion: 

Both of the recipes of turkey wings are utmost flavorful. For Thanksgiving, you don’t need to buy the whole turkey to celebrate, just buy the turkey wings and prepare the delicious dishes at home.
