Know about the Red Snapper Shot Ingredients

Red Snapper Shot Recipe is a simple method that uses only 4 ingredients and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. And since it doesn’t require any special equipment, anyone can do it. In fact, even beginners will find it easy to master.

Cranberry juice: cranberry juice is obviously from cranberries. It has a tart taste with a mixed flavor of sweetness and bitterness. It adds that little bit of zing to your cocktail but has no nutritional value, and at the same time, it helps to keep you fresh and energetic for a long time. For its tartness, it is used in cocktails. And we are also using it today. We are using 1/2 ounce of unsweetened cranberry juice here.

Amaretto: it’s not a high potent liquor, and it’s originated in Italy and made from almond pits and apricots. So it has a subtle flavor of almond in it. This can be taken straight up, but I like it in my cocktails. So, then added to the cocktail gives that smooth but slightly bitter almond-type flavor and aroma. To have that, we will be using a half ounce of amaretto in the drink.

Whiskey: This is obvious that we are going to have some real, high potent alcohol here. And today, I am picking whiskey for my recipe. I am not using an old monk’s whiskey, and I am using Crown Royal Canadian Whisky. This is a popular ingredient in many cocktails around the world. In fact, it’s the most widely consumed whisky in Canada. Its popularity stems from the brand’s rich history in the country and its ability to pair well with everything from seafood dishes like crab cakes to desserts like chocolate cake. And, let me tell you that you don’t need an expensive whiskey for this. You can use whatever you have.

I am taking 3/4 of an ounce of my Canadian club whiskey.

Ice: Ice adds that cooling effect to your cocktail, which enhances the cocktail’s tartness even more. Add ice cubes as per your need. I am using 7-8 ice cubes. I may also have a piece of ice cube in my shot glass after the cocktail is served if I feel like having one.

Method of Preparing Red Snapper Shot

Step 1:

Have a glass that will measure the amounts needed. In a big glass, have 7-8 ice cubes. Add

1/2 ounce of amaretto and 3/4 ounce of Canadian whiskey, and lastly, our 1/2 ounce of cranberry juice.

Step 2:

Now you have to shake it, not stir it. So, take the big copper glass and place it on top of your glass full of ingredients to shake all the things. After shaking a bit, your cocktail is ready.

Step 3:

Pour that into your shot glass. And serve it at your house party or have your very own cocktail time. Because now you have the red snapper shooter in your hand.

Tips for Making Red Snapper Shot

Canadian Whisky expressions are available from Crown Royale. Even though the Deluxe bottle is the company’s flagship, the original whisky inside is just as good. This is the most logical choice for a beverage in terms of cost. Apple, peach, and vanilla flavors, all of which are reasonably priced, would be excellent in the Red Snapper Shot.

If you are looking to make a red shot, then there are some things you should know about making this delicious drink.

  • First thing first, you have to get yourself a good mixer. A good mixer can be anything like a blender or even just a regular glass bottle with a lid.
  • Second, you must add all the ingredients simultaneously so they don’t separate.
  • Thirdly, you have to shake them well before serving. Fourthly, if you want to serve in a martini glass, you will need to chill your glass first.
  • Finally, you have to garnish it with orange peel because it gives the drink an extra kick of flavor.

Conclusion

This recipe will make you feel like you’re drinking a lot of alcohol, but it’s just twice the number of shots you’d typically get. So, if you’re splitting it between two glasses, you’ll end up with four shots. If you’re making it for yourself, you should probably just go ahead and drink it all at once.
