DIRECTIONS:

Step 1

Cream together the sugar, butter, and salt on medium speed in an electric blender with a paddle. Beat the egg and vanilla extract to make it smooth. Then mix the yeast, milk, and flour.

Step 2

Combine on low speed to form the dough a ball. Switch to the dough hook and raise the speed to medium (for about 15 to 20 minutes). You may have to mix a little flour or water while mixing to get this touch.

Step 3

Now oil a large bowl and transfer the dough to the bowl. Now roll it around to cover it with oil. Shield the bowl with plastic wrap. Leave the dough rise at room temperature (for about 2 hours or the dough comes to double in size.)

Step 4

Combine the brown sugar, salt, granulated sugar, cream, and butter in the bowl of an electric blender (for 2 minutes) at high speed. Add the vanilla extract and corn syrup, and continue to cream (for 5 minutes).

Step 5

Take away the dough to the counter. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, and we will lightly dust the top of the dough with flour. Scatter the cinnamon sugar over the dough’s surface, and roll the dough up with the long side fronting you. Thus it will create a cinnamon-sugar spiral as you roll. With the layer side down, cut the dough (12 pieces).

Step 6

Cover the bottom of the baking plate with the caramel glaze, and then scatter the pecans equally over the surface. Lay the parts of dough on top of the caramel glaze, evenly spread out the pan. Shield lightly with plastic wrap and allow rising at room heat (for about 75 to 90 minutes) to make it double-sized.

Preheat the oven (350 degrees F) and adjust the oven rack to the lowest layer.

Swelter the sticky buns (for 30 to 40 minutes) to make it brown. Now cool the buns in the pot (5 to 10 minutes), and then eliminate them by tossing them over onto another pan or serving platter. Cautiously ladle any ended glaze back over the buns with a spoon. We will wait at least 20 minutes before we serve. The buns are best eaten for up to 2 days.
