It takes a lot of ingredients and time to prepare though the rich flavor hunts me every time to explore the lasagna recipes, to create something new, to follow famous chefs’ recipes. Today I’m going to share Paula deen lasagne recipe with a surprise. Apart from its meaty flavor, there is a special recipe for vegetarians too. My best friend is a vegetarian, and always, I wanted to give him the appetizing bite of lasagna. It has taken a lot of time, researching the veg-lasagna recipe. Recipe 1: 

First of all, I’m going to start with the Paula dean vegetable lasagna, cause I’m very excited about the recipe. With mushrooms, you will have the cheesy texture and tastes amazing with all the spices I’m using here. Surprise your family members and veggie friends with the vegetable lasagna. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1 cup of narrowly sliced carrot
  • 4 oz. of sliced fresh mushrooms (1/2 package)
  • 2 cups of crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 can of tomato paste (3 oz.)
  • 5 oz. of steamed spinach
  • 1/2 cup of sliced basil
  • 1 tbsp. of minced garlic 
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 cup of small-curd cottage cheese 
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese 
  • 9 slices of provolone cheese 
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese 
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic salt
  • 6 oven-ready lasagna noodles 
  • 1 cup of sliced zucchini
  • 1 cup of yellow squash, sliced

Directions: 

Step 1: Set the oven for preheating to the temperature of 350 degrees F. 

Step 2: Over medium heat, heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven

Step 3: Pour the chopped onions and sliced carrots. Saute them until the onions are translucent and the carrots are semi-tender. 

Step 4: Add mushrooms, cooking for 5 minutes, or until soft. 

Step 5: Adding the tomatoes and tomato paste, stir the carrot-mushroom mixture. 

Step 6: Reducing the heat to a simmer, gradually, add spinach, basil, and garlic. For taste and flavor sprinkle salt and pepper. Stir the mixture well and within 10 minutes from the beginning, your mixture is ready. 

Step 7: Take a glass bowl, and combine the cheeses, egg, and garlic salt. Make the paste well. 

Step 8: Spraying the baking pan, thoroughly spread 1 cup of veg mixture in the bottom. Now gently place 3 lasagna noodles on the top of the veg mixture. Now, add the cheese mixture, placing the zucchini, and squash over the cheese. Again, place rest 3 of the lasagna noodles, adding the remaining ingredients. Lastly, top with mozzarella as much as you want. 

Step 9: Place the baking pan in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. 

When done, the cheesy aroma spreads in your room and the lasagna looks bubbly. Remember to stand for at least 10 minutes after removing from the oven before slicing.

Recipe 2:

  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil

  • 4 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of dry red wine
  • 1 cup of Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded Italian cheese
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
  • 16 oz. of crabmeat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup minced parsley
  • 6 oven-ready lasagna noodles

Directions: 

Step 1: This is the necessary step for every lasagna; preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Also, prepare the baking pan with cooking spray. 

Step 2: In a large frying pan, saute the chopped onion, garlic cloves with olive oil over medium heat. Cook them until onions are tender (about 5 minutes) 

Step 3: Now, pour wine, add Alfredo sauce, shredded cheeses, and nutmeg. Cook them until the cheese melts. 

Step 4: Add the crabmeat into the cheesy sauce mixture. 

Step 5: Combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian cheese, beaten egg, and parsley. 

Step 6: In the bottom of the baking pan, add the seafood mixture, then as like the previous recipe, place 3 lasagna noodles, then top with half of the cheese mixture. Continue repeating the layer one more time, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese. 

Step 7: Bake the lasagna for 40 minutes. Expel from oven and wait for 10 minutes before slicing. 

Lady and Sons Lasagna Recipe: 

Well, I have found this recipe a lot similar to Paula deen lots o meat lasagna. Hence, in this recipe house seasoning, and Italian seasoning makes the lasagna a new flavorful dish. Anyways, with the similarity of Paula deen meat lasagna recipe, you will find this recipe satisfying in many cases, especially with the cheeses. Let’s see the recipe. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup canned tomatoes
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves 
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp house seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6 lasagna noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions: 

 Step 1: Bringing a saucepan, pour water and bring it to boil. 

Step 2: Add tomatoes, onions, garlic, and parsley. Cook for 3 minutes. 

Step 3: Then pour the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, house seasoning, and bay leaves. Reducing the heat to a simmer, cover the saucepan for 1 hour. 

Step 4: In another pan, crumble the ground beef, and cook until they turn into brown color. Drain off remaining the moisture from the beef. 

Step 5: After 1 hour, when the sauce is done, place the cooked beef into the saucepan, and let it on heat stirring for another 15 minutes. And, don’t forget to remove the bay leaves. 

Step 6: Turn on the oven to preheat at 350 degrees F. 

Step 7: Now prepare the cheese sauce, mixing all types of cheeses and eggs. 

Step 8: in the greased baking sheet, place a layer of sauce then place the lasagna noodles. Spreading half of the cheese mixture, repeat the layer with remaining 3 lasagna noodles, beef-sauce, and shredded cheeses. 

Step 9: Put the baking dish in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. 

Step 10: to make is super cheesy, remove from oven, and top with mozzarella slices. Bake for another 20 minutes. 

If you want to bake your lasagna another time, you can store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. In that case, the total baking time has to be 60 minutes.

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese

Directions for Chicken Mixture: 

  • In a frying pan, heat the cooking oil, with the onions and bell peppers. 
  • Add the sour cream, stirring for 2 minutes.
  • Now, add chicken pieces. 
  • Season with sprinkling Mexican seasoning. 
  • Lastly for flavor, add enchilada sauce, cover the saucepan, and cook for 10 minutes. 
  • Then you need to prepare the sauce mixture, arrange the layers, and bake for 40 minutes.
