Pasta a La Carbonara Recipe:

You will be equally excited alike me after trying this recipe. The guanciale, I’m using here doesn’t have excess fat at all. So, you don’t have to drain off the excess fat like pancetta or bacon. Again, I’m using here sour cream to make the mixture to balance the sweetness of spaghetti. I can bet this recipe is the richest pasta carbonara, you have ever had.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 pound of guanciale, sliced in thin strips
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the spaghetti cooking into salted boiling water for 15 minutes. Drain off the remaining water.

Step 2: Now it’s time to prepare the carbonara sauce. Beat the egg yolks. Add heavy cream, sour cream, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix all ingredients with a whisk.

Step 3: Let the sauce stand for at least 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 4: In a non-stick frying pan, add chopped onions, and garlic with medium heat.

Step 5: Add the guanciale pieces and cook for 5 minutes or until they are crispy enough.

Step 6: In that frying pan, add carbonara sauce and cooked spaghetti. Garnish with chopped parsley or cheeses.

The excellent all juicy cheese and sticky-flavored pasta alla carbonara is perfect to celebrate late-night candlelight craving with your special person.

Conclusion:

Three of these recipes are the best for special events. Apart from the taste, the odor of your every dish is enough to bring the water-mouthing flavor. You will also feel the hunger in your every bite while having these carbonaras.
