Three-fourth of a cup of milk

Method of Preparing the Orange Chicken Step by Step:

Step 1: Cut the chicken into even slices of 1-inch wide pieces that are 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. 

Step 2: Sift flour into a medium-sized bowl. Mix salt, and baking powder with the flour. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and soy sauce together to make the batter. Make a thorough mix. Put them in a row so it is easier to work with them. 

Step 3: Dip the chicken pieces into the flour mixture first. Make sure it is coated evenly and in a thin layer. It is necessary to be layered thinly so the chicken is crispy. Dip the floured chicken into the wet batter. Roll around and remove excess batter with a gentle shake on each piece.  

Step 4: Place a pan on the stove for frying. Pour oil and heat it for frying. Fry the batter-dipped chicken pieces until they are cooked through. The ideal temperature is at 365°F which is equivalent to setting the heat setting on the stove to medium-high. Use absorbent paper to drain the excess oil. 

Step 5: When the oil has drained, serve with rice and veggies of your choice. You can also sprinkle some chopped parsley if you want.
