  • 1/3 cup of avocado oil, you can also use extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) instead
  • ½ cup of melted butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp of lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of lemon pepper seasoning

Methods of Preparing Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings Step by Step:

Step 1:

Set your oven for preheating at the temperature of 4000 F.

Step 2:

Take a large baking sheet (460 mm × 330 mm) and line it with parchment paper.

Step 3:

In a mixing bowl, pour 1/3 cup of avocado oil, ½ tsp of kosher salt, and ¼ tsp of black pepper. Toss the chicken wings finely into them.

Step 4:

Now, you need to keep or place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer over the wire rack set.

Step 5:

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 55 minutes or until they are golden brown in color and crispy on the top.

Step 6:

While cooking, pour ½ cup of melted butter or margarine (I always prefer margarine as it has more health benefits), 2 tsp of lemon zest, 3 tbsp of lemon juice, and 1 tbsp of lemon pepper seasoning in a large bowl.

Step 7:

When done, remove the chicken wings from the oven, and toss them in the margarine-seasoning mixture. As per your taste, adjust the seasoning, and serve as soon as possible.

Note:

  • If you are using an air fryer, then you need to cook the chicken wings at the temperature of 380 degrees F and the whole cooking time will be 15 minutes.
  • Then you need to increase the temperature to 400 degrees F and as the final phase, cook them for 10 more minutes and so on.

See, it takes only 25 minutes on the air fryer. If you don’t have any, no problem! The taste and crisp will always be the same.

Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings Recipe:

Ingredients we Need:

For chicken wings:

  • 3 ½ lbs of chicken wings
  • 2 tsp of Kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
  • Canola oil, for grilling

For lemon pepper sauce:

  • 2 tsp of melted margarine
  • 1 ½ tbsp. of garlic paste, or 3 smashed cloves of garlic
  • 1 ½ cup of prepared lemon curd
  • 3 tbsp. of water 
  • 2 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
  • Lemon juice from 1 lemon full (about 2 tbsp.)

Methods of Preparing Diabetic Chicken Wings Step by Step:

Step 1:

First of all, you need to prepare the chicken wings. To do that, preheat a charcoal or grilling machine to 350 degrees F. 

Step 2:

Take a large glass bowl and finely toss the chicken wings with Kosher salt and ground black pepper.

Step 3:

Now, lightly coat the grates with canola oil with a cooking brush. 

Step 4:

Start frying or grilling the chicken wings. If you don’t know how to fry lemon pepper wings, let me know. 

Step 5:

Check the internal temperature of chicken wings with the instant-read meat thermometer. When the result shows 170 degrees F. Remove from heat. Well, the whole procedure won’t take more than 10 minutes. 

Step 6:

When done, transfer them to a serving plate and set them aside. 

Step 7:

Let’s prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, pour the margarine. Then add garlic paste, stirring continuously until you smell the garlic-ish odor and in light golden color. 

Step 8:

Now, add 1 ½ cup of the lemon card, some water, and 2 tsp of black pepper. 

Step 9:

Mixing finely with a spatula, cook for 3 minutes. After that add lemon juice. The sauce is ready.
