How to Make Buca Di Beppo Apple Gorgonzola Salad Dressing Recipe Step by Step

Step 1:  Start your recipe by making candied walnuts for that purpose, preheat the oven up to 225 F, and then line a large baking sheet with foil.

Step 2: Take a medium bowl, add egg white and water, and whisk them together for 30 seconds until foamy.

Step 3: Now add walnuts in it and stir it to coat, then add walnuts to a strainer in the sink. After that, properly drain the walnuts and leave them for 2 or 3 minutes.

Step 4:  Meanwhile, take a large ziplock and share allspice, sugar, and cinnamon together. Then add the egg while coated walnuts, seal it, and shake it. But ensure that everything is adequately coated.

Step 5: Now dump walnuts on the pan and spread walnuts in a single layer

Step 6: Then bake it at 225 for one hour but stir it after every fifteen minutes

Step 7: Remove it from your oven and place it separately to cool it completely.

Step 8: Take a blender, add oregano, mustard, pepper, salt, wine vinegar, red onion, and garlic and blend them together. While the blender is running, open its spout, pour ¾ cup olive oil, and set it aside.

Step 9: Wash lettuce and chop them into bite-size pieces; if you have a salad spinner, you can dry it.

Step 10: Then, core the apples, chop one apple into bite-size pieces, and thinly slice the second apple. Put both apples in a medium bowl, add lemon juice and stir them to coat.

Step 11: Now add all romaine in a large serving bowl and then add ½ cup of dressing and stir them to coat. After that, add chopped apples, candied walnuts, cranberries, and gorgonzola and toss everything together.

Step 12: In the end, Top salad with some additional cranberries, gorgonzola, and walnuts, and layer the sliced apples on the top or as you like to place. It is ready to serve.

I use minced red onion on the top, and the buca di beppo salad dressing experience was nice, but buca salad is totally optional; you can skip it if you do not like it.

Romaine Salad with Apples Recipe

Here is a crunchy apple with chewed dry cranberries Salad recipe that brings a bit of sweetness to your ordinary green salad. I have tried this recipe, and it does not take more than fifteen minutes; this buca di beppo salads taste was fantastic, and I recommend you try it. Its recipe is pretty simple.

Ingredients you Need

  • 1 medium-size apple diced and unpeeled
  • 6 cups romaine lettuce
  • 1.2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup poppy seed dressing, do not use fresh refrigerated seeds are best

How to Make Romaine Special Salad with Apples Step by Step

Step 1: Take a large size bowl to add apple, lettuce, green onions, and cranberries to that serving bowl.

Step 2: After adding in the bowl, pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Make sure all ingredients are properly tossed. Once done, it is ready to serve.

Step 3: You can serve it immediately, but if you place it for 20 to 30 minutes in the refrigerator, it will give a better taste, but it is optional.

You can use the ripe, yellow-green, or red pear also in that recipe instead of on apples. But apples taste better than pear. Avoid using non-refrigerated poppy seed dressing and trying to find refrigerated seed dressing from the grocery store.
