The white truffle oil chicken recipes can be your perfect dinner. An ideal menu for a long-time day worker, like me. These chicken recipes with truffle oil have become among my favorite things to make when I’m in a hurry, and I need something tasty for my tastebuds.

Never mind mentioning that I tend to seek ways to get a bit creative with the flavor and attempt different things whenever I make them, and that’s when I used white truffle oil. I found something worthy to create over and all over again and completely get in love.

Worth mentioning that the recipe is quick and straightforward, which makes it excellent for those busy weeknights. Without any further delay, let’s jump into the recipes.

Chicken with Garlic Sauce and White Truffle Oil

The first time I tend to try this truffle oil chicken recipe, I used a particular brand of white truffle oil, and it tasted absolutely flavorful. For me, prepping the chickens is the key to the absolute taste. Glaze the chicken before it goes into the oven.

You better prepare it right after season the chicken. This way, you can add sauce right after you finish browning the chicken. These recipes using truffle oil chicken won’t be overcooked.

Besides the fact that you will combine these with something like sweet potato, you will find an absolute success with the whole family. Let’s jump into how to cook with truffle oil and get an amazing dish.

Ingredients:

For Chicken

2 chickens of 2lbs, each

1 cup of olive oil

1/4 cup of minced garlic

1/4 cup of chopped fresh thyme leave

1/4 cup of chopped tarragon

1/4 cup of chopped fresh rosemary

freshly ground pepper

kosher salt

For Garlic Sauce

2 roasted garlic, cloves removed

2 tbsp of unsalted butter

1 tbsp of olive oil

2 tbsp of white truffle oil

2 diced shallots

1 cup of port wine

8 cups of chicken stock

freshly ground pepper

kosher salt

For Potato Puree

6 potatoes

1 cup of basil leaves

2 tbsp of pine nuts

2 minced clove of garlic

1/3 cup of olive oil

2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup of charred milk

3 tbsp of butter

freshly ground pepper

kosher salt

Methods of Preparing Step by Step:

For the Chickens

Step 1:

Let’s start with the truffle oil recipes chicken. Take a large bowl. Add 1 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh thyme, 1/4 cup of chopped tarragon, 1/4 cup of chopped rosemary.

Give it a good mixture. Now, add the 2 chickens and coat with the mixture. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrapper and refrigerate for two hours; better overnight. 

Step 2:

Get to the oven. Preheat it to 400F. 

Step 3:

Bring out the chickens and season them with freshly ground pepper and salt to taste. Brush the chickens with the leftover marinade mixture. 

Step 4:

Take a large skillet. Sear the breast sides for around 3-5 minutes until golden-brown color. 

Step 5:

Place the chickens within the oven and roast for around 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350 degrees and continue cooking, dripping with the marinade, till the chicken is cooked and browned. It will take around 30 minutes or so. Let the chickens out of the oven and rest.

For the sauce

Step 7:

Let’s get to the sauces for grilled chicken. Take a large saute pan—heat 1 tbsp of unsalted butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil over high heat settings. Add 2 diced shallots and saute for 3 minutes till caramelized. 

Step 8:

Add 1 cup of port wine and reduce the mixture till nearly dry. Now, add 8 cups of chicken stock and 2 roasted garlic with the cloves removed. Cook it till reduced by half.

Sprinkle the sauce with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Remove from the stove and strain into another pan. Add 1 tbsp of butter and whisk. Spoon the sauce over the chicken with the truffle oil.

For the potato puree:

Step 9:

Let’s get the puree now. Add 1 cup of basil leaves, 2 tbsp of pine nuts, 1/3 cup of olive oil, 2 minced cloves of garlic into a food processor until smooth. Now, add 2 tbsp of grated parmesan cheese, salt, and freshly ground pepper. 

Step 10:

Take 6 potatoes. Peel those and boil until soft. 

Step 11:

Take a large bowl. Place the boiled potatoes through a ricer and add 1/4 cup of the puree, 1/2 cup of charred milk, and 3 tbsp of butter. Mix it until smooth. 

Season it with pepper and salt as needed before serving.

Chicken Thighs with White Truffle Oil

This is one of my favorite recipes using truffle oil. I am gonna cook it on a cast iron skillet. Let’s jump into it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 tbsp of garlic salt
  • 1/2 tbsp of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp of kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp of parsley
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white truffle oil
  • zest of a half
  • 1/2 tsp of ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 4 tbsp of unsalted butter 
  • 1/4 cup of port wine

Methods of Preparing Step by Step:

Step 1:

Take a small bowl. Add 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of parsley, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tbsp of pepper, and combine well.

Step 2:

Rub the thighs with olive oil and coat them with the prepared mixture.

Step 3:

Take another small bowl. Add 1/2 cup of truffle oil, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, 2 tbsp of butter, 1/2 tsp of ginger powder, zest of half lemon, and mix well. Set aside the sauce.

Step 4:

Take a cast iron skillet over medium-high settings. Add 2 tbsp of butter, 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic, and 1/4 cup of port wine. Now, add the chicken thighs and brown them for 5 minutes, both sides.

Step 5:

Turn off the stove. Brush the thighs with the prepared sauce.

Step 6:

Let’s get to the oven. Place the truffle chicken thighs in the oven for around 30 minutes.

Step 7:

Smells coming off. Remove from the oven.

Serve hot. Add some parsley if available. Bon Appetit!
