1/8 to 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 pound of fully cooked andouille sausage, sliced
½ pound of uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups of chopped tomatoes
1/4 tsp of Kosher salt
1/8 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
4 tbsp of butter, divided and soften at room temperature
1/2 cup of julienned sweet red pepper
Methods of Preparing Shrimp and Sausage Pasta Step by Step:
Step 1: First of all, you need to cook 6 ounces of fettuccine according to the package direction.
Step 2: While the fettuccine is cooking, take out a skillet. Melt 4 tbsp of butter over medium-low heat. Don’t allow the butter to get browned.
Step 3: Add 1 cup of chopped onion, ¼ cup of celery, ½ cup of red pepper, ½ cup of green pepper, ½ cup of yellow pepper, and 2 tbsp of garlic into the melted butter. Cook until softened completely.
