Ingredients We Need:

4 Large Eggs

2 Cups of White Sugar or Granulated Sugar

1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract

2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour or Whole Wheat Flour

1 Tsp of Baking Powder

½ Tsp of Baking Soda

1 Cup of Whole Milk

2 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter or Margarine

1 ¼ Cups of Peanut Butter

1 Cup of Milk Chocolate Candy Bar, Finely Chopped

Methods of Preparing Tandy Cake Step by Step:

Step 1: Start by preheating the oven at the temperature of 350 degrees F. Also, bring out a 10×15 inch baking pan and grease with a non-stick cooking spray. 

Step 2: In a bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder and ½ tsp of baking soda. Set the bowl aside.

Step 3: Take another large mixing bowl and add 4 eggs, 2 cups of granulated sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. 

Step 4: With an electric hand mixer, beat on high speed until it become foam like lemon-colored. 

Step 5: In the microwave, place 1 cup of milk with 2 tbsp of butter and microwave for 2 minutes or until begins to create bubbles. 

Step 6: Pour the milk mixture to the egg mixture, and beat for 1 minute. 

Step 7: Add the prepared flour mixture in two or 3 batches and beat over high speed until you get the perfect batter. 

Step 8: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. 

Step 9: Carefully place the baking pan to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes to 25 minutes. 

Step 10: Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake to check whether it is completely done or not. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready. 

Step 11: Let the cake cool in the wire rack. When cool enough, plop 1 ¼ cup of peanut butter all over with the edges evenly. 

Step 12: Set it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. 

Step 13: Melt the chocolate in the microwave and spread evenly over the layer of peanut butter. Refrigerate again to set the chocolate layer hard over the cake.

Tandy Cake Recipe with Cake Mix

With cake mix, you can prepare this tandy cake very easily. In no time, you can prepare it. Mix, pour and bake! If there are any leftovers, then finely store in a container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Also, with the leftovers and some more whipped cream, you can make vanilla jar cake.

1 Box of Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix

1 Cup of Water or as per Package Direction

2 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil or as per Package Direction

3 Eggs or as per Package Directions

1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract

1 ½ Cups of Creamy Peanut Butter

½ Cup of Semisweet Chocolate Chips

2 Tbsp of Butter or Margarine

1 Container of Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Methods of Preparing Step by Step:

Step 1: At first, you need to preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. 

Step 2: Spray bottom and sides of the baking pan with flour. 

Step 3: In a bowl, add 3 eggs and beat finely with a whisk. 

Step 4: Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Then add the cake mix in 3 batches. 

Step 5: Using water, make the batter in proper consistency. 

Step 6: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. 

Step 7: Bake in the oven for 20 minutes to 25 minutes or until the inserted toothpick comes out clean. 

Step 8: In a small microwave-proof bowl, add peanut butter and microwave for 20 seconds. 

Step 9: Spread evenly onto the warm surface of the cake and refrigerate for some time until the layer gets harden. 

Step 10: Also microwave ½ cup of choco chips and 2 tbsp of butter for 30 seconds or until the choco chips are finely melted. 

Step 11: Stir in the frosting and spread over the peanut butter layer. 

Refrigerate again if not want to serve immediately.
